Lisa Warnes: In the nearly 9 years I have served in ward and stake music callings, I have developed a great love for teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. What a powerful tool! My greatest love is teaching music in primary. In my childhood years of primary, I don't recall much about what lessons were taught. I do remember the songs, how I felt learning them and some of the visual aides that were used to teach them. Serving as ward primary music leader and stake primary music leader, I have gathered together my ideas and the ideas of others to try to share with others who are new to the calling, or just need a boost. Over the years, I have published 3 books for primary choristers. The last one, "The Big Book of Super Singing Time Helpers" contains ideas and full colored visual aides. Many are adapted from past Primary Music Workshops. This book is available at www.creativeconnectionz.com.
